The Vince Albano 74th AD Republican Club - a Tradition of Republican Activity

The club is named after late and legendary New York Republican County Committee Chairman Vince F. Albano, Jr., who passed away in 1983 after guiding numerous Republicans to elective office in Manhattan, including: Theodore Kupferman to the New York City Council, US Congress, and New York State Supreme Court; MacNeil Mitchell, Whitney Seymour and Roy M. Goodman to the New York State Senate; Bill Green to the New York State Assembly and US Congress; and John Lindsey to the US Congress and Mayor of New York.  The Vince Albano Republican Club has honored his legacy and has remained a vital part of successful campaigns in the neighborhood throughout the 1980s and 1990s, including 7 reelection bids for Congressman Green and 15 for Senator Goodman as well as the election and reelection of City Council Member Andrew S. Eristoff.  As we enter the dawn of the new millennium, we look forward to forging many new friendships and successful campaigns ahead.
